The wine blend consists of 40% Montepulciano, 20% Grenache, 15% Malbec, 15% Tempranillo, and 10% Mencia. Each variety is fermented separately for 1-2 weeks, with twice-daily punchdowns and/or pumpovers. The Montepulciano undergoes carbonic maceration, while the other grapes are destemmed. The wine is then aged in neutral oak for seven months.
