La Boutanche Trollinger

"The German offer from the Boutanche series of liter-sized natural wines. Made by Andi Knauss of dry, crisp chillable red. Trollinger is a grape that came from the South Tyrol region of northern Italy, where German is still spoken widely. There the grape is called Schiava in Italian but gained a name based on the region when it migrated to Germany. Lovely wine with notes of raspberries and purple flowers, bone-dry and hard not to finish in one session."
