New Haze, Same Craze!

We first developed this beer in the early days of hazy IPAs, a time when some people did not recognize hazy IPA as a real style of beer. Here at the brewery not only were we loving them, but our customers were too! The name is a play on "Haters Gonna Hate," because people criticizing this new craft style were mad that people actually liked it, and eventually Hazy IPA was recognized by the Beer Judge Certification Program. The BJCP also recognizes our Hazers as a commercial example of what a Hazy IPA should be. High praise!

Our latest iteration in our rotating hop series Hazers Gonna Haze is Mighty Mogwai. You can tell you’re drinking it by the code MOG on the bottom of your can. We morphed this version with Cryo Citra and Simcoe hops to enhance the flavors and aromas of mango and other tropical fruits. We also cool pooled Mighty Mogwai to keep away the bitterness and accentuate the long lasting hoppy flavor. White wheat malt was added to enhance the pillowy hazy mouthfeel, like the soft fluffy little Mogwai it is named after.
